A document is accessible only to the user who uploaded it. In other words, a user never has access to a document that has not been uploaded from their account.
As a reminder, when you use Compilatio Magister, Compilatio Magister+ or Compilatio Copyright, the analysed documents are compared to:
-
hundreds of billions of web pages,
-
+300 million content items, including: private scientific publications, open access scientific publications, content from internationally renowned professional publishers, university and research center repositories, etc
-
all documents added and managed autonomously in the reference library, by users or managers of your institution, as well as those of other Compilatio client institutions (for Compilatio Magister and Magister+ services).
In the last case, all your documents can be compared with each other during the analysis.
However, the documents' confidentiality remains intact in its entirety: you do not have access to the entirety of the comparison documents whose contents are encrypted by XXX, but only to the similar passages in order for you to compare them directly.
Reminder: you can decide at any time if a document will be used or not as a comparison source, by indexing it or deindexing it from your database.
