This article is about Moodle's 'Assignment' activity.
In the Moodle 'Assignment' activity, students can upload several documents (interim submissions) before submitting their final version. This is what we call “multiple submissions” in this article.
Starting with plugin version 2.5.5:
Multiple submissions are now enabled for assignments, regardless of the assignment configuration. Each time a document is replaced by another, it is also replaced in Compilatio, even if the maximum number of files to submit is different from 1.
Plugin versions: 2.5.1 to 2.5.4:
In order for the Compilatio plugin to handle potential duplicates that may appear if a student replaces (multiple times) the file that they have submitted for an assignment, you must ensure that the following setting is configured as follows:
Maximum number of uploaded files : 1
Thus, when a student replaces a file for an assignment, the old file will be de-indexed and removed from the Compilatio account. The new file will then be used.
