Compilatio acts as a subcontractor. It makes the services available, but data management is the responsibility of the institution that processes this data via its users. Requests should therefore be handled directly by the institution's Compilatio manager/project lead.
The project lead is directly able to carry out the request to exercise a teacher's right via the Compilatio administration interface by following the procedures described below.
Right of access and consultation
Exercised by the teacher
Access and consultation can be carried out directly by the teacher, from their Magister user account if it is in an “active” status.
Exercised by the Compilatio manager/project lead
The Compilatio manager/project lead can also manage the right of access and consultation for a teacher from the administration interface, in account management
- if the teacher's account is active, the project lead can view the desired user
- if the teacher's account is “inactive”, “suspended” or “awaiting validation”: the project lead can modify the relevant user by changing the status to be confirmed.
Right of modification
Exercised by the Compilatio manager/project lead
The Compilatio manager/project lead can modify a teacher's personal data from the administration interface. They must go to account management and modify the desired user by changing associated personal data.
Right of deletion
Exercised by the teacher
- Deleting documents
From their Magister user account, a teacher can directly delete documents as desired. To delete a document fully, they must also:
- remove the contents of the document from the document database
- empty the trash bin
- Deleting a user account
This action can only be performed by the Compilatio manager/project lead from their administration interface.
Exercised by the Compilatio manager/project lead
The Compilatio manager/project lead can delete a teacher's personal data from the administration interface.
- Deleting documents:
- go to account management and assume the identity of the teacher who made the request
- de-index and delete the documents in the document interface
- empty the trash bin.
- Deleting a teacher's account:
go to account management and delete the user
Right of limitation and opposition
To exercise these two rights requires deleting documents, and thereby deleting the associated data..
Since Compilatio is not a document archival service, there is no need to keep documents that you do not want to process.
Right of data portability
Exercised by the teacher
As with the right of access and consultation, you can download the documents uploaded into your Magister user account.
Only the Compilatio manager/project lead can ensure the portability of several dozen documents at once, which the requester can receive in a "structured" format (e.g., CSV, xml, etc.).
Exercised by the Compilatio manager/project lead
As with the right of access and consultation, you can download the documents uploaded into the teacher's Magister account. Then simply send them these documents by any means you choose.
If you want to ensure the portability of several dozen documents, and wish to receive this data in a "structured" format (e.g., CSV, xml, etc.), send a request to support@compilatio.net, specifying the references (identifiers) of the relevant documents.
If you think any data processing has been carried out contrary to applicable regulations, you may file a complaint with the CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr/).
