1. What is the “Share” feature for a folder?
The folder sharing feature allows you to collaborate effectively with other teachers or members of your institution. You can give controlled access to your analysis folders, depending on the role assigned to each user.
This option is available in the interfaces of all Compilatio Magister and Magister+ users.
2. Why share a folder?
Folder sharing facilitates collective work within a teaching team. It allows you to:
- avoid unnecessary duplication of analyses,
- pool efforts between teachers,
- obtain external opinions in complete security,
- streamline internal exchanges and validations (jury, colleagues, administrators, etc.).
📌 Use case 1 — Centralizing a class's work
A designated person (librarian, educational engineer, coordinator, etc.) gathers all of a class's work into a single folder, performs the analyses once, and then shares the folder with the relevant teachers.
This avoids duplication of analysis, makes it easier to consult the results, and limits back-and-forth communication between departments.
Note: all teachers must have a Magister/Magister+ account. Sharing with students is not possible.
📌 Use case 2 — Obtaining an external opinion in complete security
After analyzing their documents, a teacher or supervisor can share the file to obtain an opinion or validation (e.g., thesis jury). Collaborators access the reports in a secure environment, without exchanging files by email.
3. How do I share a folder?
Access the feature
- Go to your Compilatio Magister / Magister+ interface.
- Select the folder you want to share.
- Next to the folder title, click on the three dots, then on “Share.”

3. Click on the “Share” button.
📧 The collaborator will automatically receive an email informing them of the share, with a direct link to the folder. In their account, the collaborator will find the folders shared with them in the right-hand space under “Shared Folders.”
