In Compilatio, the term “document” refers to:
- an original file, with its layout,
- an extracted text with text indexing when the green box is checked (text used as comparison material)
- the resulting analysis report.
Clean up your files and reduce digital pollution, while preserving the data you need for your comparisons.
Before emptying the recycle garbage can, check for a green tick, which guarantees indexing in your reference library.
To activate this option, click on “Keep only the text".
The original files (PDF, Word) and the associated Compilatio report will be deleted. The extracted text will remain in the Compilatio comparison database.
If you wish to keep a record, export the results as a PDF before deleting.
