The objective of a anti-plagiarism software or plagiarism detector is to provide users with indicators to help them make decisions. These indicators can be interpreted to determine if there is plagiarism in the analyzed work.
Compilatio has several versions of anti-plagiarism software:
- For teachers: Compilatio Magister y Magister+.
- For students: Compilatio Studium.
- For editorial professionals: Compilatio Copyright y Copyright+.

- Similarity detection: search and identification of similar passages between the analyzed document and the sources in the database of the anti-plagiarism software (for more information on the sources of comparison of each Compilatio software, see the article dedicated to).
- AI content detection: identification of potential AI-generated content.
- Altered text detection: identification of text manipulation attempts to hide cut-and-paste or fraudulent use of generative AI.
The documents analyzed in the various Compilatio software packages are confidential. They are never distributed or sold.
